I wrote this over lockdown last year, so I'm thrilled to hear it's getting out of the house. At the time, I was living in a fellows flat in Girton College, Cambridge, where Delia Derbyshire studied as an undergraduate. I find both Blue Veils and Sailing By have a distant quality, in sound and sentiment.
